TMC and SAP Lead the Charge Toward an AI-Enabled Future of Work

In a decisive move to redefine the future of work, TMC Pvt. Ltd., in collaboration with SAP Pakistan, recently gathered industry leaders at “Digital HR, AI-Driven Experience,” a high-impact conference held in Karachi.

Coinciding with Pakistan’s Independence Day, the event strategically positioned digital HR transformation as a national imperative. It highlighted the central role of people strategy in fostering a smarter, more resilient economy. The conference convened influential figures from across business, human resources, and digital innovation, all emphasizing the critical shift from traditional HR models to intelligent, AI-powered ecosystems.

“With only 34% of organizations in Pakistan having fully integrated digital HR functions, the country must unlock the full potential of its workforce, compete globally, and rebuild a resilient knowledge economy,” stated Saquib Ahmad, Country Managing Director for SAP Pakistan, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Bahrain. He underscored how SAP’s SuccessFactors Human Capital Management (HCM) empowers forward-thinking organizations to build agile, skill-based workforces ready for future challenges, adding, “Digital HR will serve as the foundation of a smarter Pakistan.”

Abdul Haseeb, Managing Director & CEO of TMC Pvt. Ltd., reinforced this vision: “This event isn’t about buzzwords, it’s about igniting a national conversation on how Pakistan hires, trains, and scales its talent.” He clearly defined the path forward, stating, “With AI as the enabler and human experience as the compass, Digital HR is the blueprint for tomorrow’s workforce.”

The conference showcased expert panels and insights from leading organizations including Engro Corporation, Tapal Tea, Pakistan Cables, and Lucky Core. Key discussions focused on essential themes such as workforce upskilling, managing generational transitions, effective talent retention, and the strategic evolution from purely administrative HR functions to data-driven, growth-focused models.
