Karachi Schoolgirls Win Big at Robotics Olympiad With AI Powered Management Robot
Three brilliant young students from Karachi are set to take on the world! These innovators recently clinched top spots at the World Robotics Olympiad (WRO) 2025 Sindh Nationals, earning their golden ticket to the global finals in Singapore this November.
Meet the PowerPuff Innovators: Emaan Zehra, Anaya Anas, and Ayra Rizvi. All students of Grade VIII at Haque Academy, these talented girls, aged between 12 and 13, dominated the Future Innovators Junior category. Their outstanding performance secured them first place in Sindh and the prestigious Girls in STEM Award.
Their success didn’t stop there. Nationally, the PowerPuff Innovators achieved an impressive second place overall, competing against 51 teams from across Punjab and Sindh. Their groundbreaking project? An AI-powered financial literacy and management robot. This smart creation uses an intelligent camera system to help users make informed purchasing decisions, showcasing a practical and innovative application of technology.
Now, these young stars will proudly represent Pakistan at the WRO Global Finals 2025 in Singapore. They will be the only team from Pakistan at this international event, competing against bright minds from around the globe.
The World Robotics Olympiad is a renowned international competition designed to ignite innovation and cultivate STEM skills among students.
